The Grab-Bag
Hey everyone! Not a ton of news that is all that interesting this week, so it’ll just be a grab-bag where you can check out whatever you might be interested in :)
Activision Blizzard full year financials. Nearly doubled their bookings thanks to Call of Duty performing so well across different titles. Making butt tons of money, as always. Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV are not going to release in 2021.
Square Enix Q1 financials. I didn’t find anything particularly interesting in this quarter.
Destruction AllStars reviews are out. They aren’t particularly good, but that’s remedied by the fact that they’re giving it away as part of PS Plus.
ZeniMax co-founder and CEO Robert A. Altman has passed away. People are sending a lot of nice messages around this one, he seemed like a good guy.
Stellaris is getting a new expansion called “Nemesis.” You take the role of an evil force trying to cause as much crisis as possible, or the flip side of trying to eliminate it completely.
That’s all from me today! Back with the news on Monday. Thanks for being here, and let me know if you have any feedback about the newsletter!
